Club Brewing Supplies

As a member of GTRB, you also get access to the club's supply stock of ingredients. If you are already a member and you would like to see an ingredient added to the stock pile, please let us know by contacting the events coordinator. Below you can find a list of ingredients, the quantity available and the unit cost per ingredient. The prices are based on the purchasing price of the items. This stockpile is not used to make a profit in anyway shape or form. This supply sick is strictly so members can brew any time without worry about ordering ingredients and having them shipped. If you would like items from the supply stock, contact events with a list of the items you would like.

Note: The supply stock is still a work in progress.

Yeast - A yeast bank is also being constructed for the club. Currently WLP001, WLP002, WLP041, Pacman, and a lager yeast are on the books for the summer of 2011. The yeast bank will be a collection of frozen samples in small 50 ml sealed vials.

Hops - A stockpile of hops is also being researched. Hardware is currently being acquired to vacuum seal and freeze hops. Because of the large variety of hops that are available on the market, the selection of hops chosen for the stockpile will insure a large variety of styles that can be brewed with the available hops. Expect some varieties with low AA and high AA.
